Education: ITI Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Role and Responsibilities:
Technical Competencies:
Proficiency in basic engineering calculations for system capacity, flow, and pressure drop through pipes.
Experience in interpreting technical specifications and standards related to mechanical engineering.
Drafting and Design:
Prepare technical drawings including P&IDs, Layout drawings, Equipment GA/detail drawings using 2D/3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor).
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company standards in all drawings.
Project Collaboration:
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as Projects, Manufacturing to ensure alignment on design specifications and requirements.
Support project execution by providing timely design updates and revisions as required.
Quality and Timeliness:
Ensure timely and quality release of design drawings to meet project deadlines and customer expectations.
Conduct thorough reviews of drawings to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, and design changes as per company procedures.
Adhere to safety standards and regulations applicable to design and drafting activities.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Draftsperson or similar role in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor) and other relevant design tools.
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in mechanical design and drafting.,
