Designation: Draughtsman
Job Location: Noida, U.P.
What you'll do:
You will be responsible for daily tasks related to preparing designs, specifications, drawings and specification packages as per requirements in 3D intelligent design/ drafting software and assists with managing the drafting workload and deliverables.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
• Carry out complete Mechanical, general arrangement 3D models and drawings for plans, single line diagrams, sections, elevations in Revit/AutoCAD with minimal supervision.
• Coordination with other Disciplines Designers and Engineers as applicable.
• Coordinate with BIM/CAD Lead concerning project requirements.
• Able to work on Custom Revit families where applicable.
• Candidate should be able to visualize and produce clash free 3D model using Navisworks/Revit.
• Provide regular work status updates, including risks or concerns to Discipline Lead/Project Manager/Project Lead.
• Stay updated with relevant technical developments within the discipline.
• Must adhere to company QA/QC process and BIM strategies
• Undertake other duties as may be assigned from time-to-time by management.
• Initiates interface with other disciplines to obtain input for discipline designs.
• Performs computer analyses of structures designed by others with guidance from Senior/PPL engineers.
• Prepares design calculations as required.
• Assists in preparation of specifications with guidance from colleagues.
• Performs engineering check of drafting.
• Performs design verification through single discipline check and assists with inter-discipline checks (IDC).
• Prepares & reviews MTO’s of structures under supervision.
Desired Candidate Profile:
• Diploma in Mechanical Design, or Drafting in a related discipline.
• Knowledge of associated industry detailing standards and drafting.
• Knowledge of preparing Isometrics and P&ID is a plus.
• Knowledge of 2D and/or 3D drafting systems (AutoCAD and Revit). Knowledge of PDMS and/or PDS/SPM
• Possess strong working knowledge of advanced drafting practices and familiarity with CAD principles (i.e., text placement and editing, layering, x-references, annotation scales, e-transmit, precision input, etc).
• Candidates having experience in Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical / Hydrocarbon/ Fertilizer field or Design Services Industry experience.
