Position: Mechanical Draftsman - Design Department
Experience: 3- 5 Years
Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineer, Certification of 3D Software - Solid Work
Job Location : Ahmedabad
Salary: 25000 to 35000 INR monthly
Responsibilities:
- Create technical schematic drawings, general arrangement layout of packaged equipment, pipeline and instrumentation diagram, manufacturing drawings, 3D models of mechanical equipment, using measurements, specifications and additional data from engineering team.
- Collect initial drawings, calculations and design ideas from engineers, and combine all relevant data into coherent and complete initial design models for review and modification.
- Coordinate directly with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements, verify design details and recommend modifications as needed according to company standards and best practices.
- Communicate with manufacturing personnel to create detailed drawings prior to production.
- Provide support to engineering team as needed by creating technical drawings and 3D models within deadlines and utilizing multiple methods to ensure deliverables include all relevant design details.
- Assist in ongoing project to standardize and unify design document standards by participating in meetings and preparing presentation materials as necessary.
- Prepare list of all deliverable items and equipment of the packaged items with overall size and weight to assist dispatch department.
Required qualifications & experience:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineer, Certification of 3D Software - Solid Work
- 4 to 5 years - Experience with heat exchanger, vessels manufacturing company
- Good knowledge in piping diagram and layout.
- Professional certification of 3D software learning from reputed institute.
Skills:
- Minimum completion of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in same professionals from mechanical manufacturing process.
- Proficient with Solid works and AutoCAD as well.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
- Excellent technical communication skills with engineers and manufacturing personnel.
- Strong attention to detail and mathematical abilities.
- Able to work within strict deadlines.
