Job Title: Mechanical Elevator Erection Engineer
Location: Ahmedabad
Department: Engineering / Projects / Installation
Job Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Project Manager / Senior Installation Manage
(Only Male)
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute elevator erection and installation projects as per engineering drawings and specifications.
• Supervise the assembly and mechanical setup of elevator components at project sites.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and local regulations during erection activities.
• Coordinate with project engineers, vendors, and contractors for smooth workflow and timely completion.
• Perform quality checks and inspections throughout the installation process.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide timely solutions during erection and testing.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including installation records, inspection reports, and safety checklists.
• Provide technical support to the commissioning and service teams post-installation.
• Participate in client meetings and ensure satisfaction with installation quality and safety compliance.
• Maintain updated knowledge of industry best practices and product advancements.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in elevator/lift erection and mechanical installation.
• Knowledge of elevator installation processes, mechanical systems, and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and technical manuals.
• Hands-on experience with tools, lifting equipment, and mechanical alignment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage on-site teams and work in a field/project-based environment.
• Familiarity with relevant standards such as EN 81, IS 14665, or similar.
• Willingness to travel to various project locations as required.
• Certification in lift installation safety (preferred but not mandatory).
