Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Design Engineer at Witcorp India Advisors LLP in Bengaluru, with flexibility for some remote work. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as machine design, computer-aided design (CAD), project management, and research and development (R&D).
Qualifications
• Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design skills
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
• Experience in Project Management
• Research and Development (R&D) skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

1. Candidates must have thorough knowledge of MEP Design including HVAC, Firefighting and Drainage as per following codes standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, IPC, NFPA, NBC, BS, UAE fire code)
2. Designing, developing, evaluating mechanical design systems in HVAC, Plumbing (Drainage and Water Supply) and Civil Defence drawings (Firefighting, Smoke Control and LPG).
3. Understanding and knowledge of Electrical is a plus.
3. Ability to design creatively a wide range of projects including villas, schools, warehouses, buildings, etc
4. Candidates must be proficient in professional softwares like Auto-Cad, Heat load Calculation using HAP, Duct sizing using McQuay, Pipe Sizer, MS Office.
5. Candidates must be able to perform Load calculations, Pump Head Calculation, Water tank calculation and sizing, ESP calculation, Ducting and Chilled water Piping.
6. Minimum 5 years experience with above requirements
