Qualification:- B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Role & Responsibilities:-
Perform a full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and implement)
Design the mechanical system by performing design calculations based on the given inputs and assumptions.
Ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Responsible for the development and maintenance of projects through conception, definition, design, documentation, and release to production.
Serves as a domain expert in relevant product development projects.
Works collaboratively across engineering disciplines to ensure consistency of common technologies.
Conducts root cause investigations and Failure analyses to solve reliability and performance issues on legacy products.
Design systems and components that meet needs and requirements.
Designs and analyses mechanical systems to achieve product specifications.
Develops component and system tests to validate the performance of mechanical components which demonstrate manufacturability, compliance with CE EMC, and environmental stress.
Maintains existing products as required to meet safety, reliability, and customer expectations.
Organizes and actively participates in design reviews and project reviews.
Adheres to quality system requirements in the development of new products including all required documentation.
Understands Danaher Business System tools and applies them to day-to-day work.
Participate in the development of products.
Transfer design concepts into design specifications, applying principles of mechanical engineering.
Tailor the drawings to meet the manufacturing requirements.
Specification study and literature survey of the mechanical system and prepare the feasibility report based on existing literature.
Procedures for the components.
Involvement in the assembly, testing and qualification of the components meeting the required specifications.
Documentation for design reviews.
Conduct a quality check of all documents and reports, verifying the accuracy of data, information and calculations.
Verification of the design calculations through structural analysis.
Optimization of the concept as per the mechanical design, analysis results and modify the design and preparation of the design report.
Conduct experiments methodically, analyze data and interpret results.
Component and assembly draft drawing creation.
Preparation of Bill of Materials and establishing the manufacturing methodologies.
Typical duties include Assessing project requirements.
Measuring the performance of mechanical components, devices and engines.
Communicate with the manufacturer and vendors and realize the hardware.
Take part in the necessary inward and outward inspection and draft the inspection
