Job Description: We are looking for a passionate and innovative mechanical engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mechanical systems and components to meet project requirements. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: ● Design frameworks and mechanical equipment for projects, collaborating with industrial designers to ensure feasibility and efficiency. ● Analyz client requirements and develop business and technical solutions that align with project goals. ● Create detailed design documentation, including drawings in both 2 and 3-dimensional form, to communicate design concepts and specifications. ● Estimate time and costs required to complete projects, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule constraints. ● Define, create, and maintain development methodologies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency and quality in design processes. ● Assist in the selection of materials for products, considering factors such as durability, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability. ● Produce final design specifications, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. ● Supervise assistant drafters and other workers involved in project design, providing guidance and support as needed. ● Collaborate with managers and clients to clarify design requirements, address concerns, and resolve issues in a timely manner. ● Stay informed about advancements in design technologies and methodologies, incorporating innovative techniques to enhance design processes and outcomes. Qualifications: ● Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. ● Proven experience in mechanical design and development, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment. ● Demonstrated experience with prototyping and testing methodologies, including rapid prototyping techniques and laboratory testing equipment. ● Proficiency in any 3D-computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as SolidWorks, CATIA, PTC Creo etc. ● Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA). ● Understanding of various manufacturing processes and their applications. ● Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for structural and thermal analysis. ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. ● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
