Join us as a Mechanical Engineer in Pune to be responsible for the continued development and maintenance of products and new technology concept development. Products being High Speed Separator Systems for Food, Water and Marine Applications.
A significant part of our work is conducted in development project form within cross-functional teams. Therefore, as a person, one needs to be collaborative, communicative, and responsible with a strong drive towards results.
The person needs to be structured in approach to work and should be able see and analyse details while also having the ability to see the bigger picture

The position / About the Job:
In this job the Mechanical Engineer would be responsible for:
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Be part of developing new ideas and concepts related to technology. This can include new designs, features, materials developments, and even new types of technical solutions.
• Follow up production of prototypes, lab tests.
• Development of new products and services from product concept to launch to match customer needs.
• Maintenance of the existing portfolio.
• Design changes, support to supply and purchasing activities.
• Technical support, Claim support.
• Product & system design ownership

What you can be?
Qualifications & experience:
• B.E. Mechanical Engineer, having around 5 years of experience in related industry.
• Position will be based in Pune but working for BU HSS R&D organization in Tumba, Sweden.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on product development and maintenance.
• Knowledge of material properties, specifications, and standards, hygienic design, Welding standards and geometrical tolerances.
• Knowledge on piping, equipment sizing, selection used in process industries.
• Hands on using computer-aided drafting (CAD), Auto Cad, Cadison, etc. to develop P&ID, layouts, drawings, and designs in 2D and 3D.
• Generate and maintain product structures in PLM systems. Know-how of EPR systems.
• Perform tests FATs, verification, and design reviews.
• Communicate effectively with other departments, suppliers, and production.
• Stay up to date with new technologies, hygienic design methods and tools.
• Good communicator and fluent in English both verbally and written.
• Ready to travel if required.

• Creative, self-driven with a high motivation to solve problems.
• Used to work independently but gets energy from being part of a team that helps and care for each other.
• Good learning ability.
• Cross culture awareness.
