Role Summary
We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer (On-Site) to support the installation, assembly, and operation of mechanical systems at Ossus Biorenewables’ project sites. This role focuses on mechanical execution, plant operations support, and accurate documentation for hydrogen and bioreactor systems.
What You’ll Do
• Read, interpret, and execute work based on mechanical drawings, layouts, and design documents.
• Support mechanical assembly, installation, alignment, and commissioning of plant equipment and piping systems.
• Assist in routine operation, inspection, and basic maintenance of mechanical systems and rotating/static equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of plant operations, mechanical activities, inspections, and maintenance logs.
• Coordinate with electrical, instrumentation, and process teams during site installation and commissioning.
• Ensure mechanical work is carried out as per safety standards, SOPs, and site guidelines.
• Report progress, deviations, and mechanical issues to site and project managers.
What We’re Looking For
• 0–2 years of experience in mechanical engineering roles at industrial or plant sites.
• Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly documents.
• Hands-on knowledge of general mechanical assembly and manufacturing practices.
• Discipline in maintaining data, records, and operational logs.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel to project locations as required.
Good to Have
• Exposure to hydrogen plants, bioreactors, or process industries.
• Familiarity with piping systems, pressure vessels, and industrial equipment.
