Job Description
Project Work:
Will be responsible for Project Execution as per P&ID and Layout
Check piping layout drawings and mechanical design of process equipment as prepared by the Consultant
Check specifications of all equipment, piping items, valves, fittings etc
Checking line list with reference to P&IDs
Verify General Arrangement layout
Check and approve vendor drawings for fabrication as well as proprietary and bought out equipment
Conduct Hydraulic/ Pneumatic testing of all pipelines at suitable testing pressures
Verification and approval of data/ layout, prepared and submitted by contractor
- As-built of P & IDS
- As-built of Utility Equipment locations
- As-built of piping layout with elevation
Maintenance Work:
Prepare all work instructions such as installation and selection documents necessary for equipment setup
Collaborate with Designing team for Design maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods
Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults
Coordinate with agencies for contractual periodic maintenance
Diagnose breakdown problems
Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly and also to inspect whether the materials are as per our requirement and are of latest technologies.
Collaborate with all the departments for work
Arrange specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings, or components
Create Purchase and Service Requests in SAP
Control maintenance tools, stores, and equipment
Interpret all design codes and ensure effective performance of all piping activities.
Monitor and control maintenance costs
Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs.
Checking whether work is done according to the safety rules & regulation of the company.
Work with specialist equipment, such as programmable logic controllers (PLC), which control machinery on factory assembly lines
Assist with product changeovers
Ensure there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns.
Manpower Handling in their department.
Maintaining ISO/IMS Documents & facing Audits.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Industry: Chemical or Pharmaceuticals
Academic Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Job Experience: Minimum 5 years in chemical/pharmaceutical manufacturing company
Other: SAP knowledge, Computer skills,
