• Develop complex individual and group training courses and activities for employees.
• Monitor the effectiveness of course materials, reviews feedback, and modifies/revises course materials as instructed.
• Completes the development of new course materials. May also identify, evaluate and obtain training programs and materials from external vendors.
• Demonstrate and apply a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments.
• Successfully apply complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization.
• Demonstrate knowledge of organizations business practices and issues.
Education & Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technical Writing, Instructional Design, or related fields
• Additional qualification / certification in learning and development domain preferred
• 10 to 12 years of experience in the Technical Training domain / function with strong exposure in following aspects of the job role
• developing and delivering business and/or technical training programs and curricula, including strong experience with virtual delivery
• strong communication skills and extensive experience working with technical subject matter experts
• familiarity with basic mechanical and/or industrial controls (PLC) engineering concepts
• excellent organization and project management skills
• exceptional English speaking and writing skills
• ability to build engaging courses and develop interactive activities that enable learners to apply what they’ve learned
• ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technology and industry standards
• ability to balance and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in a constantly changing environment
• ability to creatively apply current learning practices to development
