Job Title: Mechanical FitterKey Responsibilities:
• Assembly and Installation:
• Assemble mechanical components, systems, and equipment based on engineering drawings, schematics, or blueprints.
• Install machinery and ensure proper alignment and fit of components.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for assembly and installation.
• Maintenance and Repair:
• Diagnose faults and perform preventive maintenance to avoid machinery breakdowns.
• Replace or repair defective parts, such as bearings, shafts, or gears, to ensure the efficient operation of machinery.
• Lubricate and clean machinery to reduce wear and prolong service life.
• Adjust and calibrate machinery to ensure proper functioning.
• Testing and Inspection:
• Conduct regular inspections to identify issues and assess the performance of machinery and equipment.
• Perform tests on machinery after assembly or repairs to ensure it meets safety and operational standards.
• Ensure all mechanical systems adhere to relevant safety regulations and quality standards.
• Collaboration and Documentation:
• Work closely with engineers, electricians, and other technical staff to ensure machinery and systems are properly integrated.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Report any issues, defects, or potential improvements to supervisors or management.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings, understanding of mechanical systems, ability to use tools and equipment.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and equipment.
• Physical Fitness: Must be physically capable of lifting heavy components and standing for long periods.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accurate assembly and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Teamwork: Ability to work as part of a team with other fitters, engineers, and technical staff.
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent (some employers may require a technical diploma or certification in mechanical engineering or a related field).
• Relevant work experience in mechanical fitting or maintenance.
• Certification in safety standards (e.g., working at heights, confined space training) may be required depending on the industry.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
