Full job description

We’re seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters / Maintenance Technicians to support a scheduled machinery overhaul at a food manufacturing facility in Dandenong. This role suits tradespeople with food and beverage industry experience who can work safely, accurately, and to tight shutdown timelines.

Key Requirements

Replace bearings, seals, bushings, nozzles, belts, and other wear parts.

Maintain GMP standards at all times, including clean-as-you-go practices, contamination prevention, and correct handling of lubricants and parts.

Skilled in precision fitting, alignment, pneumatics/hydraulics basics, and reading mechanical drawings.

Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.

Project Details

2 roles starting 03/10 – 2-week duration.

2 roles starting 08/10 – 1-week duration.

Competitive rates offered.

Job Type: Subcontract

Pay: Up to $85.00 per hour

Expected hours: 60 – 70 per week
