• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and machinery in industrial or manufacturing settings.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals to understand mechanical system layouts and specifications.
• Assemble mechanical components, ensuring accurate alignment and proper functioning of parts.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues, identify defects, and repair or replace faulty parts as necessary.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to complete fitting tasks with accuracy.
• Test machinery after installation or repair to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Maintain records of maintenance and repairs, documenting parts used and actions taken.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure machinery operates efficiently and meets production goals.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment to ensure workplace safety and compliance with health regulations.
