Use basic hand and air tools including impact wrench, air grinder, drills, and torches

Work on graded floors in power plants, which may involve working at heights

Meet with an internal employee daily and travel together to client sites in a company truck

Assist in disassembling pumps and valves and performing maintenance tasks

Travel extensively during spring and fall outage seasons (March-May and August-October), with trips typically lasting 4-5 days each week

Stay in company-paid hotels with individual rooms and receive a daily per diem when traveling

Receive a 10% premium pay when working in power plants on the road once hired full-time

Spend the rest of the year at the shop, training and servicing pumps and valves sent in from other clients

Assist other technicians and mechanics with pump and valve work

Maintain a clean and presentable appearance and perform janitorial functions as required

Maintain harmonious working relationships with fellow employees

Work hours vary, with some days requiring shifts from 7AM-3:30PM and others up to 12-hour days during outages

Employees may also be on call some weekends

Our work primarily takes place in KY, OH, and WV, both in a valve shop environment and in loud, dirty, industrial power plant environments. Work hours vary, with some days requiring shifts from 7AM-3:30PM and others up to 12-hour days during outages. Employees may also be on call some weekends.
