Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Power Generation Specialist to join our team. As a Power Generation Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our generation facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Operate and maintain a variety of power generation and auxiliary equipment, including gas turbines, hydraulic turbines, and their support systems.
• Evaluate and adjust machine operating parameters to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor control and emission systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Perform various mathematical calculations to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
Requirements
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of an approved apprenticeship program for Generation Technician or two years of journey level generation experience in a related area involving electrical or mechanical maintenance and operations.
• Knowledge of principles, methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in the installation, operation, maintenance, and modification of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
Work Environment
This position may involve working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels. You must be able to work effectively in a team setting and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
