Essential Duties And Responsibilities
• Site H&S Maintaining Site H&S systems with respect to maintenance, process, storage, and project operations.
• Site Environmental Systems Awareness and reporting of environmental incidents around site.
• Responsible for the electrical repair, maintenance, and installation of electrical switchgear, equipment, systems and components, to ensure continuous production operations.
• Reviews job orders to determine work priorities.
• Generates accurate reports to ensure smooth running and continuation of activities.
• Responsible maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, electric power, gas, or air required for operations.
• Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.
• Assists with Planning, developing, and implementing new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials.
• Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations within specific limits.
Experience And Skills
• Minimum level 3 relevant qualifications
• Two to three years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as area, circumference, volume, and the ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• An ability to use Microsoft Office and other industry Software
• Be physically fit and healthy
• Comfortable working outside
