We're looking for a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for performing technical liaison services between customers and our sales personnel, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

Your Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional technical support and guidance to customers on equipment operations and maintenance.

Analyse equipment failures and implement improvements to our processes.

Conduct hands-on mechanical service work at customer sites, inspecting equipment according to global and customer procedures.

Evaluate questions and analysis with Technical Support and Engineering teams, escalating as necessary.

Compile accurate post-site reports, time sheets, and expenses, providing critical insights for future projects.

Support quotation work with detailed scope of work, initial planning, and costing information.

Collaborate with Technical Support Teams to enhance warranty processes and contribute to Root Cause Analysis.

Identify equipment not in our installed base, capturing valuable data for our CRM system.

You'll Thrive Here If...

You hold a Mechanical trade qualification or have relevant experience, backed by a strong background in mechanical trades.

You've worked in the Mining industries, particularly with Grinding Mills and ideally Flotation and Thickeners.

You possess basic computer literacy in MS Office – Word and Excel.

You maintain a valid motor vehicle license, adhering to random medical and drug tests.

You excel in communication and interpersonal skills, negotiation and presentation skills, and reading electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics.

You're adaptable, able to work extended periods away from home, including weekends.
