Job Description:

Reporting to the Mechanical Services Supervisor, the Mechanical Services Helper will assist with the day-to-day maintenance requirements of the Resort’s ski lifts and gondola. Helpers will work alongside the Mechanical Services team including apprentices and Millwrights to ensure projects and ongoing maintenance are completed in an efficient and safe manner.

Job Responsibilities:

Assisting the Millwrights with moving, assembling, disassembling, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment.

Following all safety standards during all work assignments and maintain orderly, safe work areas

Assisting the Millwrights repair any problems associated with new equipment.

Assisting the Millwrights in performing preventative maintenance once the machines and equipment are put into operation.

Completion of all paperwork as required.

Ensure ongoing compliance with local, national, and international standards and legislation.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

Mechanically minded and able to work at heights

Must be in good physical condition and able to carry up to 70lbs

Ability to follow and uphold all Health and Safety Standards

Able to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment

Able to work outside in all weather conditions

Self motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm

Adhere to OH&S responsibility and requirements of the electrical department

Complete other tasks as assigned

Previous relevant work experience an asset

Valid Driver’s license and 3 years claims free history

Knowledge of LLSR lifts, run names and terrain considered an asset

A Police Background Check from your home country or province will be required upon commencement of employment

Work Schedule:

4 days on/3 days off

7am – 5:30pm

Dress Code:

Outdoor uniform as described at time of interview
