HVAC Refrigeration Mechanic with an interest in Building Automation and Energy Management Systems
econtrol is looking for an experienced HVAC Refrigeration Mechanic who is interested in expanding their industry knowledge into Building Automation and Energy Management Systems to join our team.
Specialising in delivering HVAC Upgrade Solutions, Maintenance, Building Automation, Energy Management and Systems Integration for our clients, econtrol has built a reputation of innovation, quality and efficiency leading to an expansion of our market and creating opportunities to join our project team.

The Position:
Working with our Commissioning and Service team, you will be responsible in delivering quality HVAC Maintenance, BMCS Maintenance, System(s) Commissioning and Small Works Mechanical and Control projects. Initially approximately 60% to 70% of work shall comprise HVAC Mechanical Maintenance with the remainder involving on the job BMCS/DDC Systems training.
Your responsibilities include:
HVAC System maintenance.
Completion of Site Logs and Maintenance Documentation.
Attendance of Breakdowns and Tenant Call Outs.
Preparation of Component Schedules and Repair Quotations.
Assist in Control System Repairs, Commissioning and Maintenance whilst receiving on the job training.
The ability to work independently and communicate effectively at all levels is essential.
Experience:
To be successful in your application for this role you must have previous commercial HVAC service and maintenance experience, be a qualified Air-conditioning / Refrigeration Technician, hold a Refrigerant Handling Licence, NSW Drivers Licence, possess good communication and computer skills. Electrical knowledge is an advantage.
