Key Responsibilities
• Work with large datasets to extract, clean, and manage data effectively using SQL and Python
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity to support the client’s platform
• Develop and maintain web scraping scripts to gather information about courses, certifications, and skill domains
• Monitor and refine scraping processes to ensure efficient and reliable data extraction
• Analyse and interpret data to support key business decisions and enhance platform content
• Generate insights that align with the needs of business transformation initiatives
• Work closely with the taxonomy, platform, and analytics teams to align data efforts with strategic goals
• Document processes and methodologies to maintain transparency and reproducibility
Requirements
• Strong command of SQL for database management and query optimization
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, web scraping, and process automation
• Proficiency in Power BI will be an added advantage
• Hands-on experience with web scraping tools and frameworks (e.g., BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium)
• Knowledge of handling web data extraction challenges such as pagination and CAPTCHA
• Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Clear and effective communication to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong documentation skills to support knowledge sharing
