EMPLOYMENT TYPE:
Full Time - Fixed-term Contract
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum of 5 years of mechanical systems design experience in aerospace
LEGAL ENTITY:
Tucana Engineering LLC, USA
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Interpret customer requirements, specifications, and standards to develop system design
Design new or modify existing aircraft mechanical systems
Select system components based on customer interfaces, specifications and regulatory requirements
Define system product configuration and part geometry using 3D CAD software (CATIA, Solidworks)
Create fully dimensioned system drawings using GD&T and customer’s standards
Attend design reviews and customer discussions
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline
Minimum of 5 years of mechanical system design experience
CATIA V5, Solidworks and AutoCAD experience
Smarteam experience
Extensive knowledge of commercial aerospace regulatory requirements and general mechanical system requirements
Understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The USA citizen or Green Card holder
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline
Minimum of 5 years of mechanical system design experience
CATIA V5, Solidworks and AutoCAD experience
Smarteam experience
Extensive knowledge of commercial aerospace regulatory requirements and general mechanical system requirements
