Overview
Element has an opportunity for a Mechanical Technician to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity to develop your career within a Global TIC business.
Responsibilities
• Interpretation of internal and client requirements
• Supervising allocated staff and being responsible for the day to day management of the relevant discipline
• Operating complex mechanical testing equipment
• Maintaining accurate and systematic records in accordance with Element's internal procedures quality as well as Health and Safety system
• Report writing, data interpretation and analysis
Skills / Qualifications
• Educated to a degree level or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant materials related discipline
• Previous experience in an appropriate Engineering environment is a distinct advantage and an understanding of a recognised Quality Management Systems such as ISO 17025 is beneficial
• Have ability to multi task, organise and work under the pressure of a busy commercial mechanical test laboratory
• Have excellent attention to detail along with strong written and verbal communication skills
