Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintaining and repairing Mechanical and hydraulic systems.
Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance to avoid equipment failure and downtime.
Implementing safety protocols and participating in emergency response drills.
Collaborating with other offshore personnel to optimize production efficiency while adhering to safety standards.
Recording operational data and reporting any anomalies or issues to the relevant supervisors. Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Install/overhauling/Maintenance of equipment such as pumps, motors, and valves.
Rotating equipment cold/hot alignments.
Assist vendor representatives and site operations in operation and Maintenance of the equipment and start up activities.
Ensure compliance with the site safety rules and with all safety aspects in the execution of work.
Managing supplies and spares inventory to ensure critical equipment is always operational.
Assisting with the operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
Conduct Lock-out-Tag-out on mechanical, hydraulic and/ systems.
Maintain all computer-generated service records and time sheets. Experience and Education
Served full recognized apprenticeship or equivalent
Five (5) years’ experience in directly performing PTW and works in an oil and Gas industry and minimum one FPSO experience of 2 years
Ability to read and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagram/Drawings (P&IDs) installation standards etc.
Experience on rotating equipment installation, pre-commissioning and Commissioning
Ability to read, comprehend and write in English language. Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 25 kg without assistance
In possession of current OPITO BOSIET, MIST, MEDICAL and Working at Heights 2
Physical fitness must be certified through a medical examination as the offshore environment requires good health and stamina
