Vermeer All Roads in Roanoke, VA is GROWING! If you are mechanically inclined, enjoy working with heavy equipment and are ready for a great opportunity, we have the job for you! Use your mechanical abilities to diagnose and repair Vermeer machinery and components. Competitive hourly rate & production bonuses available. Sign on bonus up to $5000 for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities:
• Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer Equipment as directed by the branch service manager.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions. Hydraulics, electrical & hydrostatic experience required.
• Recognize and suggest appropriate repairs to the service manager.
• Ability to weld effectively
• Keep accurate and detailed records of all repairs preformed. (using CDK Global)
• Create estimates for repair costs within work orders.
• Communicate with the factory for technical assistance.
• All other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Ability to lift, carry, and otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 50 lbs. and that may occasionally weigh in excess of 50 lbs.
