Job Description
Machine Assembly Supervision:
Supervise the mechanical assembly of yarn twisting machines, ensuring alignment with engineering drawings and specifications.
Conduct critical stage inspections including spindle setup, gearbox alignment, and motor installation.
Performance Testing & Yarn Trials:
Monitor and assist in yarn trial runs, ensuring optimal machine performance (tension, speed, vibration, etc.).
Compile yarn trial reports and recommend improvements based on performance analysis.
Documentation & Reporting:
Prepare daily production reports including output, efficiency, downtime, and quality issues.
Maintain detailed records of machine checklists, alignment protocols, and tool audits.
Quality & Safety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with quality standards, 5S practices, and safety regulations on the shop floor.
Report and assist in resolving defects or deviations found during the assembly and testing process.
Tool and Equipment Management:
Maintain and update tool tracking checklists.
Ensure all tools are calibrated, functional, and stored properly.
Interdepartmental Coordination:
Collaborate with QC, R&D, Procurement, and Dispatch teams to ensure smooth production and delivery flow.
Support installation teams with technical guidance when required.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and machine components
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (2D/3D)
Hands-on experience with machine assembly and quality checks
Basic understanding of vibration analysis, alignment, and testing instruments
Familiarity with yarn properties and textile machine behavior is an advantage
Working knowledge of MS Office and SAP systems
Good problem-solving and communication skills

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
