Arcadia is a non-profit, international non-governmental organisation with a global presence, comprising 238 members from all seven continents. Founded and headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, Arcadia is dedicated to two core missions:

We strive for academic excellence and aim to diminish the limitations to education, ensuring that high-quality education is available to all. Our secondary mission is to foster a global appreciation and support for art. Who We Are Recruiting For Position?
Arcadia is seeking to appoint ten (10) highly skilled Media Officers to join our dedicated media department. This role is designed for individuals who possess a deep-seated passion for media, underpinned by either extensive professional experience or advanced academic qualifications. Candidates should hold a Master’s degree in Media Studies, Journalism, Communications, or a related discipline, or possess a Bachelor’s degree with substantial experience in the media sector.
We particularly value candidates with experience in academia, online publishing, hard copy publication media, or digital media. Furthermore, individuals who have held senior editorial or marketing roles in prestigious publications such as Vogue, The New Yorker, or The Economist will find a welcoming environment at Arcadia.

Strategic Trend Analysis:
• Undertake comprehensive trend analysis to inform and guide the creation of high-impact media content that aligns with Arcadia’s mission and vision.
Content Creation and Design:
• Design and produce media content that meets Arcadia’s exacting standards, ensuring consistency with our thematic focus and organisational goals.
Social Media Management:
• Assume responsibility for the management and strategic enhancement of assigned social media accounts, contributing to the development of a cohesive and recognisable brand identity.
Collaborative Engagement:
• Work in close collaboration with the Media Manager and Marketing Department to ensure that all media initiatives are seamlessly integrated with Arcadia’s broader marketing and communications strategy.
Reporting and Accountability:
• Provide detailed and regular progress reports to the Media Manager, demonstrating transparency, accountability, and a results-driven approach in all media-related projects.
What Are Our Requirements For The Position?
• A Master’s degree in Media Studies, Journalism, Communications, or a closely related field, or a Bachelor’s degree with significant and demonstrable experience in the media sector.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in media research and social media management or 5 years at a related field, with a strong preference for experience in academia, online publishing, or the digital media landscape.
• Proven expertise in creating and managing high-quality media content, with exceptional skills in creativity, research, and communication.
• A sophisticated understanding of current media trends, with the ability to innovate and adapt strategies to maximise the impact of Arcadia’s media presence.
• A strong commitment to Arcadia’s mission of providing accessible, high-quality educational content and supporting the global appreciation of the arts.
• The ability to work effectively within a diverse, multicultural team, while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
