Medical Administrator Department: Breast Screening Unit Location: Cottingham Parking: Not Specified Proposed start date: ASAP Duration: Expected to last up to 4 months and maybe possibly longer Sector: Healthcare Working Environment: Hospital Pay Rates: £12.82 paye inclusive per hour Band: 2 Working Days and Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30am to 12.30pm every day Remote working option: Not available Summary of Role To support Service Support Lead with administrative tasks including but not limited to:-
• Data Entry
• Typing clinical letters
• Dealing with incoming referrals
• Input data onto clinical database
• Answer telephone and email queries from patients/internal and external staff
• Maintaining patient information on EPR including scanning, attaching files and other tasks
• General reception and admin support for the team
• Support with publishing clinics Qualifications, Skills and Experience
• GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
• Secretarial qualification/training or relevant experience
• Competent typing skills
• Competent user of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience of working with databases
• Experience of working in a demanding office environment
• Confident and can work unsupervised once trained Questions Do you have previous experience working as an Administrator within the NHS?
