Job Description:
Join Dr. Reddy's, a leading pharmaceutical company, as a Medical Advisor specializing in Hematology. We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to be a core scientific member of our cross-functional franchise team. As a disease area expert, you will be responsible for driving the scientific foundation of our Therapeutic Area (TA) medical strategy. This role involves conceptualizing and managing various medical activities aligned with the TA medical strategy, engaging key thought leaders, and ensuring optimal execution of strategic medical affairs plans.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Act as a disease area expert and contribute to the scientific foundation of the TA medical strategy.
• Conceptualize and manage a wide range of medical activities, including research, publications, medical education, patient support programs, and advisory board meetings, aligned with the TA medical strategy.
• Engage key thought leaders through medical affairs activities in line with the strategic plan.
• Collaborate with the therapy area lead to support optimal patient outcomes through effective communication of data and insights.
• Devise a comprehensive training plan for the sales and marketing team to keep them updated with the latest medical developments.
• Represent the organization in various internal and external scientific platforms.
• Develop Medical Affairs strategic plans for identified TAs and products.
• Identify knowledge gaps, practice gaps, and data gaps to develop strategic medical action plans.
• Collaborate with thought leaders to conduct reviews, meta-analyses, case studies, and publish them in reputable journals.
• Handle complex questions from healthcare professionals related to products or disease areas to satisfaction.
• Ensure all activities comply with Dr. Reddy's COBE (Code of Business Ethics) Policy and compliance guidelines.
• Champion the product pipeline, identifying unmet needs and contributing to new product ideation and development.
Related Experience Requirements:
• Preferably 2 to 4 years of working experience in the pharmaceutical industry or research company in a Medical Advisor capacity.
• Experience in the relevant TA (Hematology) is preferred.
• Training in medical writing, clinical trial methodologies, research design, and ICH-GCP is an added advantage.
• Working knowledge of Indian regulations pertaining to healthcare professionals' interactions and clinical trials.
