HEALTHTRIP is recruiting “Medical Content Writer” on urgent basis.
POST:- Medical Content Writer
LOCATION:-Jasola, Near Apollo Metro, Okhla
COMPANY:-Healthtrip enables users to find and avail the best medical treatment across India, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, UAE and Turkey, including booking flights, hotels, interpreters and getting teleconsults, medicine delivery and medical loans. Healthtrip is also launching a cross border health insurance in Bangladesh which will offer coverage on international treatments.
Job Qualifications and Skill Sets:-
A bachelor’s degree in English or journalism and some educational background in life sciences or paramedical sciences can give a firm base for those looking to enter the Medical Writing field.
Responsibilities:-
• Candidates must have strong Conceptual understanding of contents
• Should be able to write the content for internal and external communication
• Medical Content: Should have experience and be adept at medical content writing.
• Medical and clinical knowledge is a must. Writing, Editing, and proofreading medical content. Writing should be comprehensive while ensuring technical information i.e. medical content should become easy for the masses (social media audience) to understand.
• You should have a strong understanding of medical terminology
• Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
• Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
• Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
• Submit work to editors for input and approval
• Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
• Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
• Promote content on social media
• Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
• Update website content as needed
Skills:-
• Extensive knowledge of English grammar
• Portfolio of published articles
• Experience doing research using multiple sources
• Familiarity with web publications
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
• Ability to meet deadlines
• BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field
• Knowledge of style guides
• Aptitude for communicating scientific information in a succinct way
• A passion for learning medical vocabulary
• Comprehensive understanding of clinical research and related guidelines
• A knack for working on medical literature and research data (via medical journals, and resources like Medline, Pub Med, etc.)
• Ability to interpret and communicate statistical results of clinical research
• Recap massive bodies of information in a concise and logical way
• A solid understanding of pharmacology concepts
• Knowledge of drug safety process and safety requirements
• Proficiency in the use of computer based tools (like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet etc.)
• Strong in basics of clinical research
• Capacity to understand and present complex clinical data
