Job Summary
The Medical Specialist will work closely with our clinical staff to provide high-quality patient care, including conducting physical examinations, ordering lab tests, and prescribing medications. You will also be responsible for staying up-to-date on the latest medical research and guidelines, and for communicating complex medical information to patients and families.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide expert medical care to patients in our clinics, including conducting physical examinations, ordering lab tests, and prescribing medications
Work closely with clinical staff to develop and implement treatment plans for patients
Stay up-to-date on the latest medical research and guidelines related to infectious diseases and public health
Communicate complex medical information to patients and families
Contribute to the development of policies and programs that promote public health
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have a valid license to practice medicine in the State of New York, and either a Board Certification issued by the appropriate American Specialty Board or current approved application on file for admission to the certifying examination given by the appropriate American Specialty Board. Additionally, you must have at least two years of experience practicing in the specialty area.
