Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Medical Education Coordinator to join our growing educational team. In this role, you will support the Assistant Director of Graduate Medical Education (GME) by working with clients who are establishing or expanding medical schools or graduate medical training programs. You will help ensure smooth program operations and ongoing compliance with accreditation standards.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to directly influence the future of medical education through effective program coordination, collaborative leadership, and strategic support of GME initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily program operations, including scheduling, documentation, and communication with clients, partners, program directors, and internal team members
Assist in managing accreditation processes by maintaining compliance with relevant standards and preparing required reports and documentation
Support the development and implementation of educational curricula tailored to program needs, incorporating innovative teaching methods and research opportunities
Oversee budgeting activities related to the development and sustainability of GME programs, including expense tracking, grant management, and financial reporting
Assist with recruitment efforts for clients and partners, including referrals, job postings, and participation in recruitment events
Collaborate with leadership to develop and submit grant applications for residency development and research initiatives that enhance educational quality and scholarly activity
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Demonstrated experience in budgeting, grant proposal writing, and financial oversight within an academic or healthcare environment
Leadership abilities that foster teamwork, support diverse stakeholders, and promote continuous program improvement
Expertise in education administration, curriculum development, and academic advising across multiple learner levels
Familiarity with university operations, research protocols, and healthcare regulations impacting GME programs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, proposals, and presentations
Experience working with students or trainees in a higher education or clinical training setting
