Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Medical Equipment Technician to join our team. As a Medical Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of medical equipment and providing technical support to customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Inspect and repair medical equipment to ensure it is functioning properly
• Conduct routine maintenance on medical equipment to prevent downtime
• Troubleshoot technical issues with medical equipment
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues
• Develop and maintain technical documentation to support the operations team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in medical technology to ensure continued competence
Requirements
• Diploma or degree in Electronics or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in medical equipment maintenance or repair
• Knowledge of medical device regulations and standards
• Basic understanding of computer hardware and software
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina to lift and move heavy equipment
