We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Laboratory Specialist, you will be responsible for the collection of blood samples in the field and hospital settings.
The successful candidate will have experience in diagnostic/research laboratory settings and possess essential qualifications such as DMLT, BMLT, or B. Sc Life science/Microbiology/Biotechnology. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in medical lab testing/processes is required.
Key responsibilities include:
• Collection of blood samples in the field/hospital setting
• Carry out daily field and lab activities
• Ensure smooth operations at the lab processing unit
• Maintain supplies and infrastructure related requirements
• Coordinate specimen transport to Clinical and Research Laboratories from the field in consultation with technical leads/team
• Filling relevant forms and maintaining documentation
