Carecor is looking for dedicated Medical Laboratory Technologists to join our amazing team working in hospitals serving the Niagara and surrounding area. We’re ready when you are!
The successful candidate will provide care according to the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO), the standards of practice of Carecor Health Services, and the healthcare facility where assigned. Our shifts place you in a variety of work environments such as hospital in-patient care units, outpatient clinics, hospital-based physicians’ offices, and administrative departments. For each assignment, you will be in one facility for a full 8-12hour shift. We are looking to build a pool of candidates for a future opportunity.

Job Qualifications
Our “exemplary standing” with Accreditation Canada is held to the highest regard and is a testament to the fact that we uphold the same hiring standards and patient care delivery as the facilities in which we serve.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technologists training program
• Current member of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO) in good standing
• Five years of experience working in a multidisciplinary laboratory environment (preferred)
• Proficiency in transfusion, chemistry, hematology and histology
• Strong understanding of monitoring and evaluating QC Data
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate
• Proof of current immunization for tetanus, pertussis, polio, Hep B, measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella (MMRV)
• Proof of negative TB skin test within the past year or negative chest x-ray within the past 5 years
• Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire
Please note that based on recent government mandates and directives, healthcare workers are now required to provide proof of full COVID-19 Vaccination. If successful, new hires will be required to provide proof of vaccination prior to their start date.
