**Job Title: Medical Office Assistant**
**Location: St Paul’s Neurology Associates, Vancouver BC

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Office Assistant to join our dynamic team.
The Medical Office Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our neurology practice. This individual will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, and optimizing office processes to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Oversee daily office operations, including scheduling, billing, and patient services.
- Manage and coordinate and clinical staff schedules.
- Implement and maintain office policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism.
- Monitor and manage office and inventory
- Maintain medical records and ensure accurate data entry.
- Coordinate with physicians and medical staff to streamline patient care processes.
- Utilize medical office software systems (Cerner and Plexia preferred) for scheduling, billing, and record-keeping.
- Collaborate with external clinics operating within the hospital and service providers.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a Medical Office Assistant *or similar role* that exemplifies efficiency and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with medical office software systems; experience with Cerner and Plexia is preferred, but experience with other systems will be considered.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
