About us
We are a clinic located in Narre Warren South (3 x Drs & Allied Health Team). We are a small close team who work together cohesively to achieve the best Patient care for all who attend our clinic.
We are currently seeking a mature minded person with a positive and caring attitude who is committed to their role to join our team as a Part Time/Casual Receptionist (up to 15-20 per week), with the potential to work more hours as the clinic grows.
About the role
The role of a medical receptionist is challenging, varied and no day is ever the same!
We are looking for someone who is confident, has excellent communication skills, has great time management skills, Strong work ethic and can work under pressure in a fast paced environment while keeping a smile on their face.
We would prefer someone who has worked in the Medical industry previously, however full training will be provided (we use Best Practice).
Main Duties and responsibilities:
Greeting, assisting and registering new patients,
Handling telephone enquiries and making appointments
Processing payments and Medicare claims
Scanning documents, faxing and emails
Maintaining operations by following policies and procedures
Following up on outstanding results and correspondence
General administrative duties as required by Senior Receptionist/Practice Manager
Maintaining a professional rapport with all patients and health professionals
Ensuring the reception area is well maintained, neat and clean.
