Full job description

We are looking for a friendly, presentable, and organised Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our company. The ideal candidate will handle front desk responsibilities, greet visitors, manage calls, and support various administrative tasks. This role requires excellent communication skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to multitask efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and courteous manner

Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls

Maintain the reception area and ensure it is tidy and presentable

Handle visitor inquiries and direct them to appropriate departments

Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries

Schedule appointments and maintain meeting room bookings

Maintain front desk security and entry logs

Assist with basic administrative and clerical tasks as needed

Requirements:

High school diploma or graduate degree; additional certification is a plus

Proven work experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or similar role (preferred)

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Professional appearance and customer service attitude

Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise

Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

Experience with office phone systems or PBX

Knowledge of basic office equipment (printers, scanners, etc.)

Familiarity with visitor management systems

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Day shift
