Job Description
Melbourne Neurocare is seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our team in our Richmond clinic. This is a full-time role that will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our patients and clinicians.
What you'll be doing
Greeting patients and managing the clinic reception area in a professional and friendly manner
Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments, ensuring efficient flow of bookings
Collecting and processing payments for medical services
Maintaining accurate patient records and updating medical information in our system
Assisting with general administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying and ordering supplies
Providing a high level of customer service to both patients and clinicians
What we're looking for
Previous experience as a medical receptionist is preferable or in a similar customer service role
Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour
Proficiency in using medical administration software and computer systems
Keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of medical terminology and a passion for the healthcare industry
