About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team in a Part-time or Casual capacity. Opening hours of the Practice are 7.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, along with Saturday mornings.

Your responsibilities:

Front desk management including all administration duties
Patient management; greeting and welcoming patients, answering phone enquiries, making, and confirming appointments; checking, processing, and managing customer accounts; and assisting callers with general enquiries
Maintenance of the Best Practice patient database
Processing and receipting payments using TYRO, DVA, Workcover and Medicare billing
General housekeeping and upkeep of reception area and Doctors consulting rooms

About you

You are an experienced Receptionist that can work autonomously and efficiently. You are motivated and enthusiastic, and enjoy being a part of a fun and dynamic team.

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 12 months experience as a medical receptionist (required)
Experience with Best Practice software (preferred)
Familiar with processing and receipting payments using TYRO, DVA, Workcover and Medicare billings
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable and punctual
Casual / Part-time hourly rate to be in accordance with Fair Work covered under the Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020 (Modern Award) dependent on your level of experience.
