The objective of the Medical and Scientific Liaison, by virtue of their training and expertise, is to discuss and provide scientific and therapeutic information to Healthcare Professionals and Researchers viewed by their peers to be authorities in Oncology (Clinical and Scientific Leaders). Medical and Scientific Liaison interaction with their audience is governed by guiding principles intended to deliver unbiased and evidence-based information through in-depth scientific exchange in the therapeutic area of Oncology often leading to knowledge transfer initiatives and research.

Reporting to the Oncology Associate Director, Medical Affairs, the Medical and Scientific Liaison uses exceptionally strong interpersonal skills, especially in the area of one-on-one communication, and a high degree of understanding of oncology and the treatments, to develop and maintain strong scientific working relationships with Clinical Scientific Leaders in oncology with both clinicians and/or basic scientists through the communication of unbiased and evidence based information. The Medical and Scientific Liaison achieves a high level of competency in using Teamsite collaborative platform and manages multiple ongoing projects. The Medical and Scientific Liaison is responsible for managing assigned budgets in order to optimize investment opportunities.

Qualifications:
Education: Pharmacy degree; Pharm D, PhD Degree in Science or Health Sciences (preferably in related disease area) or MD is required

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical experience or equivalent preferably involving work with academic specialists and/or community leaders

Minimum of 2-3 years experience in the therapeutic area of Oncology

Demonstrated ability to acquire and maintain product, disease and competition knowledge

Knowledge of therapeutic area (both basic and clinical literature)

Strong knowledge of Company policies, procedures, industry standards, as well as laws and regulations

Ability to analyze and understand local community of practice

Ability to understand and integrate complex scientific concepts (e.g. proteomics, metabolic networks or molecular mechanisms of disease)

Basic Knowledge of Company structure, administrative procedures and guidelines

Advanced knowledge of Office technology and related software

Expert communication (oral & written) and listening skills

Advanced Analysis, Planning, Implementation and Control (APIC) skills

Advanced negotiation, presentation, and facilitation skills

Advanced project management skills

Language requirements: English

Relevant du Chef, Aire thérapeutique médical en oncologie, l'agent met à profit un entregent exceptionnel, particulièrement pour ce qui est des communications interpersonnelles, et une excellente compréhension des entités morbides et des traitements, afin de bâtir et de maintenir des relations professionnelles solides avec des sommités sur le plan clinique ou en sciences fondamentales, spécialistes d'une ou de plusieurs maladies par la transmission d'information objective et fondée sur des preuves.

Il maîtrise parfaitement l'utilisation courante de la plateforme de collaboration de l'application Microsoft Teams et gère plusieurs projets en cours. Il doit gérer les budgets attribués afin d'optimiser les occasions d'investissement.

L'agent conduira ses échanges interpersonnels de manière à respecter pleinement l'engagement de Notre entreprise envers le programme Valeurs et Normes, les politiques et procédures de la société, les normes de l'industrie ainsi que toutes les lois et tous les règlements applicables, notamment le mandat général et les principes directeurs visant les agents de liaison médicale et scientifique.

Compétences:
Éducation : Doctorat en pharmacie ; doctorat en sciences ou en sciences de la santé (de préférence lié à un domaine pertinent) ou doctorat en médecine est requis

Expérience pharmaceutique auprès de spécialistes universitaires ou de leaders de la communauté

Minimum de 2 à 3 ans d'expérience dans le domaine thérapeutique de l'oncologie est préférable (documentation générale et clinique). Une expérience antérieure en cancer hématologique est fortement souhaitée.

Capacité d'acquérir et de tenir à jour des connaissances sur un produit, une maladie et la concurrence

Connaissance approfondie des politiques et des procédures de la société, des normes de l'industrie, ainsi que des lois et des règlements en vigueur
