Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, test, and maintain software applications for medical and biomedical projects.
• Collaborate with researchers, clinicians, and other stakeholders to gather and understand project requirements.
• Implement algorithms and models for medical data analysis, image processing, and diagnostics.
• Ensure software compliance with healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA, FDA).
• Perform data analysis and visualization to support medical research and decision-making.
• Debug and resolve technical issues in existing applications.
• Document code, processes, and research findings in a clear and organized manner.
• Stay current with advancements in biomedical technology and software development.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1 - 3 year of proven experience in biomedical software development and programming.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, R, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Familiarity with medical imaging software and tools (e.g., DICOM, MATLAB, ImageJ).
• Experience with healthcare data standards and protocols (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements in the healthcare industry is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence applications in healthcare.
• Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Django).
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and big data technologies.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and integration.
