At the heart of excellent local healthcare is the delivery of medical gases in the community. As a Cryomed Van Driver your role is central to care in the community.
This is a contract with the potential to become permanent. Whilst embracing core safety values, the role supports customer relationship, which improves retention on a long-term basis.
The role is based from Slough, the deliveries cover a dedicated geography and there will over night stays paid by the company.
The requirements
• License minimum category B (C1 preferred)
• Proven driving experience (Where required) and min three years consecutive driving experience operating the necessary vehicle class
• Preferred but not a must - Valid (in date) ADR Training Certificate 2,3,8 minimum (refreshed every 5 years)
• Valid (in date) Driver's CPC Qualification Card (DQC) and evidence of current Periodic Training Status (where applicable)
• Proven track record of working within a safety-first environment.
Able to work under own initiative with excellent communication skills
Your position is accountable for the following end results
• Adherence to all safety rules, processes, and procedures, as safety is a condition of employment.
• Pre & Post vehicle check in-line with DVSA guidelines, and company standards, which may change from time-to-time.
• Loading, unloading and all other activities associated with product management in-line with ‘Dist Man Cryo Specific – working instructions’ available via ‘TDH app’.
• Successful completion of all LearnEx and regulatory training as required.
