Responsibilities
Literature Reviews & Evidence Mapping
Conduct comprehensive secondary research using databases such as PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane Library.
Analyze and interpret clinical/scientific data to extract actionable insights.
Stay updated on medical and regulatory trends across OTC and Rx domains.
Medical & Scientific Content Development
Research, write, edit, and review scientific materials across multiple formats.
Deliver literature reviews, manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide decks, white papers, and guideline summaries.
Ensure scientific accuracy, clarity, and compliance with global guidelines (ICMJE, CONSORT).
Content Review & Quality Assurance
Review and verify references to ensure plagiarism-free, factual content.
Maintain templates and styles aligned with industry standards.
Ensure accurate and impactful data presentation.
Project Execution
Understand and define client requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
Manage multiple projects with high attention to quality and compliance.
Collaborate with internal teams, including graphics and medical writing colleagues.
Other Contributions
Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing.
Demonstrate strong collaboration, professionalism, and organizational values.
Requirements
Must Have:
5 years of experience in medical/scientific writing.
MBBS / BDS / PhD / Masters in Pharmacy or a related field.
Strong understanding of pharmaceuticals, OTC, and consumer healthcare.
Expertise in scientific terminology, clinical studies, and evidence synthesis.
Proficiency in MS Office and online research tools.
Excellent written/verbal communication and attention to detail.
Good to Have:
Familiarity with regulatory documentation for US/EU markets.
Knowledge of reference management tools (EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero).
Exposure to data visualization, text mining, or storytelling tools.
Experience with statistical packages (SPSS, R, SAS, GraphPad Prism).
