Summary :

The Talent Acquisition Business Partner (TBP) is a collaborative member of the HR team working with system leaders and HR partners on workforce planning and solutions related projects and duties. The TBP has a deep understanding of the process and strategies necessary to acquire the talent needed by the organization including recruitment marketing, creative recruitment solutions, recruitment metrics, recruitment related IT software, people management, and organizational structure and efficiency.

Job Description:

Key Accountabilities

• Applies the principles and practices of human resource management, talent acquisition and organizational development to contribute to the success of the health system.

• In partnership with the workforce planning and talent acquisition team members, assist in the design and implementation of special programs/projects aimed at the acquisition and development of high performing staff

• Responsible for ensuring that data is prepared and provided to HR leadership and other leaders within the organization to facilitate shared learning and understanding of happenings and trends.

• Provides operational leadership support for the talent acquisition team as needed including assistance with escalated talent acquisition concerns

• Collaborates with the Human Resource Business Partners, Compensation Members and Benefit team to ensure system goals and initiatives are completed.

• Assists leaders in understanding out talent acquisitions philosophies and practices

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required

• 3 years of experience within Talent Acquisition and/or Workforce planning

Hybrid opportunity after training- Location is 3 Neenah Center, Neenah WI

Full Time M-F position, core hours are 8-5 with some flexibility needed for events and escalations

Job Summary

The HR Assistant Vice President (AVPHR) is a strategic leader responsible for aligning HR strategies with business objectives across the system. This role leads through influence in a matrixed environment, driving workforce strategy and ensuring operational excellence in HR service delivery. The AVPHR oversees HR Business Partners and/or HR management and models all the same competencies while developing and executing overall human resources strategy under the direction of the Vice President of Human Resources. The AVPHR leads HR teams supporting a region or a number of locations and works with VPHR and executive team to discuss business operations and human capital initiatives. The AVPHR provides leadership for building annual budgets and supports annual operating plans. This position has decision making authority to help shape policies and procedures and assists in developing high level workforce strategies.

The AVPHR works to integrate people into the full scope of business operations and supports the focus on leadership coaching and development, to include maintaining a team of high performing human resources professionals and organizational culture. This position also plays a significant role in creating and sustaining an environment to attract and retain a diverse and inclusive workforce. The AVPHR functions as a strategic partner to VPHR and senior leadership providing counsel and advice to the executive teams, entity president/s and board.

Primary Duties

• Contributes to the achievement of departmental and system-wide goals while ensuring compliance with internal policies, quality and safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Aligns and implements HR strategies, policies, and procedures in partnership with entity and senior leadership, supporting organizational mission and priorities.

• Participates in multidisciplinary teams, entity and system committees, and community outreach efforts; supports initiatives related to engagement, retention, recruitment, DEI, and leadership development.

• Serves as a strategic advisor to senior leaders on all HR matters, supporting HRBP activities and collaborating across MedStar Health on system-wide planning and decision-making.

• Represents the entity in HR-related matters with regulatory agencies, government officials, and community leaders.

• Leads HR operations including goal setting, budgeting, and performance management. Coaches, mentors, and supports development of HR staff, fostering communication and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, Labor or Industrial relations, or other related discipline required

• Master’s degree preferred

Work Experience

• 10+ years in Human Resources in a large-scale, multi-site, matrixed organization. Must have progressively more responsible related HR work experience, to lead and direct various human resources functions. In-depth and up-to-date knowledge of talent acquisition, talent management, compensation, benefits, labor and associate relations law and HR technology required

• 5-7 years of management experience required

This position has a hiring range of $177,340 - $322,836
