Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington is seeking a Meeting & Events Executive who will be responsible for maximizing the revenue and occupancy of all Meetings and Events function rooms through the management of all aspects of competitor intelligence, pricing, and management of function room inventory, market segment mix, and acceptance/denial of major group bookings whilst maintaining budgeted revenue and profit targets set.

The Meeting & Events Executive Key Responsibilities will include:
• To ensure that all client correspondence is prioritised and responded to immediately where possible or within a maximum of 2 hours.
• To liaise with accommodation department in order to gain quotations and hold or release bedroom accommodation in a timely and efficient manner.
• To arrange appointment, trial meals, show rounds with clients when required.
• To pass any sales leads and enquiries to the appropriate sales team member.
• To ensure all credit policies are adhered to at all times (i.e. deposits received in advance, PM’s cleared within 24 hours)
• To schedule and co-ordinate pre-conference meetings with hotel’s operations staff and client when necessary.

The Experience & Qualifications for Meeting & Events Executive:
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and the ability to communicate across all levels of an organization.
• Confident individual who is adept in prioritising and managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to take the initiative and deal with unexpected situations and last minute changes.
• Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential data.

The successful candidate will be:
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive, resourceful with excellent attention to detail
• Demonstrate excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills with the customers and other hotel departments
• Team worker
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace environment

The Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington is an impressive 4-star deluxe hotel in the heart of charming Kensington and a minutes’ walk to Gloucester Road Underground station, allowing convenient access around London.
