Pay Rate: $49 flat rate per hour
Roster: 24/7 rotational (casual)
ISS Aviation & Transport is offering a new pathway into aviation security following recent legislative changes. As an Aviation Protection Officer (APO), you’ll play a critical role in keeping millions of passengers safe while delivering a high‑quality customer experience at one of Australia’s busiest airports.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct passenger and baggage screening prior to departure
Control access to security‑sensitive areas
Perform physical searches and identify prohibited items
Manage passenger flow through screening points efficiently
Make sound decisions under pressure
Deliver consistent, professional customer service
What We’re Looking For
Customer service experience or strong interest in aviation/security
Willingness to complete Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (TSP) (or already hold it)
Ability to pass medical, drug, and ******* screening
Eligibility to obtain an ASIC (criminal history clearance – last 10 years)
Victorian Security Licence (highly desirable)
Unrestricted driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
Availability across a 24/7 rotating roster
