Job Description
This successful candidate will join the team at Lords Recreation Centre and will be responsible for actively promoting membership packages and securing membership sales.
The key responsibilities of this role are:
Providing tailored and valuable membership sales experiences, provided to an exceptional standard
Act as the first point of contact for all membership communications, including regular interactions and rapport-building with members in the community.
Report on weekly and monthly statistics, communicating memberships insights to the Leadership team.
Monitor and process new and renewing membership sales, online and in centre
Provide membership management support (i.e. onboarding, lead generation, prospect follow up, achieving sales and service KPI’s and resolving queries, etc.)
Ensure all membership documentation is completed thoroughly and confidential paperwork is kept in line with the City’s record keeping protocol
Efficiently action membership enquiries including suspensions, upgrades/ downgrades, cancellations, and transfers
Respond to telephone, email, text and front counter customer enquires in an efficient, courteous and professional manner
Conduct tours of the Centre and facilities to prospective members
Contribute to the development, implementation and review of membership and sales processes

Essential criteria:
Extensive knowledge and understanding of contemporary customer service principles, and genuine commitment to the delivery of customer service excellence.
Demonstrated marketing and/or sales experience, preferably within the recreation industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly developed and proven interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
Ability to use corporate computer systems
Current police certificate
Excellent relationship building techniques
Previous experience with membership sales systems and software is desirable
Salary package:
In line with the City of Subiaco Inside Staff Industrial Agreement 2025, this position is classified as a Level 4. The salary range is $74,220.64 to $84,667.44 per annum, exclusive of superannuation.
