Job Description
Everlasting Memorials is seeking a detail-oriented Memorial Designer / Graphic Designer to join our team. This role focuses on designing custom memorial layouts and inscriptions for monuments while ensuring every detail is accurate and meaningful for the families we serve.
The ideal candidate has strong design skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with both clients and our internal team to ensure every memorial is created correctly and respectfully.
Key Responsibilities
Design monument layouts, inscriptions, and artwork for memorials
Prepare production-ready files for monument engraving and manufacturing
Proofread inscriptions and memorial designs carefully for spelling, dates, and formatting accuracy
Cut and layout stencil on the stone for sandblasting (training provided)
Communicate with sales staff and occasionally families to clarify design details
Revise and adjust designs based on client feedback
Maintain organized digital files and design records
Work closely with office staff and production teams to ensure designs are accurate and ready for manufacturing
Software & Skills
Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator (AI)
Experience with Gerber, Corel Draw, CAD or similar engraving/design software is an asset
Strong attention to detail and proofreading ability
Ability to manage multiple design projects at once
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications
Graphic design experience preferred.
Experience in monument design, engraving, signage, or related industries is an asset.
Ability to read and verify inscriptions, dates, and memorial details carefully.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience / knowledge creating media for digital platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, etc..
Willingness to listen and learn. Honest and punctual at work.
Competitive wage based on experience.

Pay: $19.50-$22.00 per hour
