About Tillys

We are a leading specialty retailer of casual apparel, footwear, and accessories for young men, women, boys, and girls.

Our headquarters is located in sunny Southern California, where we support our retail and online stores.

Job Description

The Buyer will be responsible for developing and implementing merchandise assortment strategies, as well as managing the inventory levels.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement merchandise assortment strategies
• Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate records
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches
• Monitor performance versus plan to identify trend opportunities

Requirements
• 5 years minimum of retail buying experience in department store or specialty store chain required
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Proficient in Excel and MS Word

Salary and Benefits
• $85-$100k salary range
• Based out of HQ in Irvine, CA with a minimum of 4 days in office
